Comprehensive Project List

Client: Dodger Stadium
Lead Agency: City of Los Angeles
Date Completed: In Progress

The Los Angeles Dodgers propose to enhance the areas surrounding Dodger Stadium in celebration of Dodger Stadium's 50th Anniversary. This Project would provide new fan and cultural amenities, improve the ease of pedestrian circulation around the Stadium, and create a destination for fans to gather at Dodger Stadium. The Project would include four principal components: (1) the Outfield Experience, (2) the landscaped "Green Necklace", (3) the Top of the Park, and (4) Parking Enhancements. In total, the Project is comprised of approximately 404,102 square feet of net usable area (excluding parking), 307,922 of which would be new usable area. The Green Necklace would provide lush landscaping around the perimeter of the Stadium. The new Terraced Parking would consist of two new structures. The Top of the Park would transform the existing surface parking area into a landscaped plaza area with dramatic views of Downtown, the San Gabriel Mountains, Santa Monica Bay, and the Dodgers diamond. New parking structures and better access to public transit will ease traffic congestion and contribute to a positive fan experience. Environmental initiatives built into the Project include use of recycled building materials, increased water and energy efficiency, and implementing recycling for post-consumer products used by fans and staff.
