  Client: Viewpoint School
Lead Agency: City of Calabasas
Date Completed: September 2002

The proposed project consisted of a phased modernization program to redevelop the existing Viewpoint School campus and integrate the former Meadow Oaks School campus into a unified school campus. Currently, both the Viewpoint and former Meadow Oaks school sites are improved with dated structural facilities and infrastructure.

The Modernization Program included a series of physical enhancements which included demolition/renovation of existing structures, construction of new facilities, modification of site grades by cut and fill to create new building pads, development of new athletic fields, internal roadway alignment, bridge improvements, flood control improvements, and modernization of utility infrastructure.

The modernization program proposed the demolition and reconstruction of 64,000 square feet of educational facilities. Approximately 23,500 square feet of existing building area would remain in place. An additional 132,500 square feet of new building area would be constructed for a total of approximately 220,000 square feet of school facilities.
