Summary
Mr. Byron Easton is an Associate Environmental Planner at CAJA's Petaluma Office. Mr. Easton is responsible for project-related tasks including EIR section writing, proposal writing, fulfilling public noticing requirements, analytical research, document management, production and distribution, onsite photography, and land use surveys. His tasks also involve providing direction and assistance to other CAJA team members. Mr. Easton has been instrumental in the writing and production of both program and project level EIRs, Initial Studies, and Project Proposals. His experience includes a two-year stint as a City Planner for the City of Chelan, WA where he gained valuable experience with SEPA, the State of Washington’s CEQA equivalent. Before graduating from Western Washington University in 2005, Mr. Easton worked in Construction Management and as an intern for a Mediation firm in Bellingham, WA. Additionally, Mr. Easton has done volunteer field work on various river restoration projects in West Virginia and Central America.
