Summary
Mr. Hooper is a Senior Environmental Scientist at CAJA's Oakland office. His expertise includes air permitting and compliance, greenhouse gas inventories, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) analysis, regulation/rule development, risk evaluations, and air dispersion modeling. At CAJA, Mr. Hooper specializes in the analysis of air quality impacts for small and large scale projects. He provides assistance to Project Managers in the preparation of environmental documents pursuant to CEQA and NEPA, including Initial Studies (IS), Mitigated Negative Declarations (MNDs), Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs), as well as manages stand-alone air quality technical reports.
Prior to joining CAJA, Mr. Hooper was a Project Manager at LFR Inc. for the Sustainable Practices and Compliance Engineering group. He received his master's degree in Environmental Engineering, with an emphasis in Air Quality Engineering, from UC Berkeley.
