Summary
Johnny Borrelli is a Research Assistant in CAJA's Santa Clarita office. His primary responsibilities include providing assistance with environmental research, documentation, and document production/quality control. In addition, he assists staff as needed with various research and data collection efforts, including land use surveys, site photography, and noise monitoring surveys. Mr. Borrelli is a recent graduate of California State University, Northridge where he attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies and Planning – Environmental Analysis. With an educational background in CEQA-related land use issues, General Plans, and Municipal Zoning Code regulations, Mr. Borrelli is proficient in analyzing various development projects for consistency with applicable land use plans and policies. Prior to joining CAJA, Mr. Borrelli worked for the City of Santa Clarita Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, where he attained his organizational experience, assisted in preparing documents, and gave public presentations in support of the Adult Sports Program. Mr. Borrelli's experience also includes an internship for Los Angeles Family Housing, a non-profit organization, where he assisted in research for its low–income housing program in South Los Angeles and volunteer work for Pacoima Beautiful where he assisted with the organization's community outreach program.
